I also look beyond the lowest advertised price. I consider flexibility, cancellation terms, room or cabin placement, included benefits and the overall value of the experience.
Custom Itinerary Planning
Professional planning fee required for complex journeys
A detailed itinerary is more than a collection of reservations. It requires thoughtful routing, destination research, transportation planning, activity selection and an understanding of how each part of the trip affects the next.

Trips I Specialize In
Family and Multigenerational Travel
I look beyond whether a property is simply labeled family-friendly. I consider room configurations, pools, beach access, dining, transportation, walking distances, nap schedules, children’s activities and what the adults will actually enjoy.
For multigenerational trips, I also consider mobility, privacy, different energy levels and how to create a vacation that does not leave one person managing everyone else.
Cruises
Choosing the right cruise involves much more than comparing prices. I help clients evaluate the cruise line, ship, itinerary, dining, entertainment, children’s programming, cabin category and location onboard.
Straightforward cruise bookings often do not require a separate planning fee. A fee may apply when the trip includes extensive research, a large group, complicated arrangements or a detailed itinerary before or after the sailing.
Honeymoons and Celebrations
Honeymoons and milestone trips should feel personal—not like a package selected from a list.
I help couples find the right balance of relaxation, culture, privacy, adventure and celebration. I also communicate special occasions directly to the hotels, resorts, cruise lines and other partners involved.
When appropriate, I advocate for thoughtful recognition and help ensure the red carpet is rolled out for your arrival.
Destination Weddings
Destination weddings require a higher level of planning, communication and ongoing coordination.
Services may include:

All destination wedding services require a professional planning and coordination fee. Pricing is customized based on the destination, group size, room-block requirements and level of support involved.
Professional Planning Fees
Most straightforward hotel, resort and cruise bookings can be handled without a separate planning fee when I am able to make the reservation through one of my travel partners.
When additional research, customization or coordination is required, planning fees generally range from $75 to $175.
Examples include:
- $75–$100: A new-client planning deposit, detailed resort or cruise comparisons, or research beyond a straightforward booking
- $100–$175: A customized family vacation, honeymoon, multigenerational trip or itinerary involving multiple hotels, transfers, tours or destinations
- Up to $250: Reserved for exceptionally complex international or multi-city itineraries involving extensive logistics and numerous interconnected arrangements
Your exact fee will always be explained before planning begins. There are no surprise charges, and most planning fees fall below the top of the range.

Before departure, I proactively communicate with the hotels, resorts, cruise lines, drivers, tour operators and local guides involved in your journey.
Depending on the trip, I may:
- Reconfirm hotel, resort and cruise reservations
- Verify room, suite and cabin categories
- Confirm private drivers, pickup times and meeting locations
- Coordinate directly with local guides and drivers abroad
- Communicate celebrations, family needs and special requests
- Review transfers, tours and time-sensitive connections
- Triple-check the details that keep your trip running smoothly
I do not simply send a confirmation and disappear. I communicate with the people responsible for delivering your trip, advocate for your preferences and help ensure everyone is prepared for your arrival.
